About Anna…


Anna Swift is a self taught baker and chef living between the south downs and the sea of East Sussex. She spent many years acquiring different skills from across the trades, but always dreamt of working with food (especially owning a little bistro in France!).

After a year in catering college and work experience in one of Brighton's top vegetarian restaurants, Anna found her way onto the pub chef circuit, significantly changing the way that traditional food could cater to vegans and coeliacs, as well as using her knowledge and creativity to work around allergens and preferences. 

In 2017, Anna made the move towards her dream, and started her own vegan and gluten free baking business. Since then she has made a name for herself in the local area - she has been a hit at local farmers markets such as Lewes and Horsham, as well as appearing at several vegan food festivals in Brighton and Horsham. 

Lockdown has seen a change in business, as Anna has been able to provide home deliveries for many people; keeping gluten free and vegan food accessible has inspired her to start this website.
